Judy Ranz Gatto, 80, passed away in Saanich, B.C. on November 13, 2021 after suffering from dementia. Judy lived a long and happy life and was blessed with many friends and family. Following her service as a professional social worker at City of Calgary Children's Aid, Judy spent decades as the Manager of Special Projects for the Agristar Corporation. Judy is survived by her devoted husband (Frank) of 58 years. She was blessed with two wonderful sons, (James) and (Jon) and her wonderful daughters-in-law, (Karen) and (Rene).
Robert P. Raschick was born on July 4, 1941, to Theodore H. and Ernestine E. (Syvertson) Raschick. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith and graduated from Central High School, Grand Forks, ND in 1959. He served in the US Army from 1963 to 1965 and was stationed at Sheradon, Illinois. He married Donna Fabry of Akron, Ohio in 1966. They later moved to Minneapolis, MN where they raised 3 children. He was employed by FMC Minneapolis until he retired.In 1998, he married LaDonna Maxwell. After retiring, they moved to their home on Lake Clitherall, by Old Town Camp. Bob loved the lake all his years. He was a lifelong fisherman and proudly stated that he was Mr. BASS. His wife died in 2013.Bob passed away on April 5, 2017, after being a long time resident at Battle Lake Good Samaritan Nursing Home at the age of 75.He is survived by his children, Lori (Shane) Anderson of Guttenberg, Iowa, Michael Raschick of Coon Rapids, MN and Kolt (Julie) Raschick of Blaine , MN as well as 3 grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, and Alyssa; a sister, Patricia Grinde of Grand Forks, ND and Donna Raschick of Coon Rapids.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Ernestine and his wife, LaDonna. Blessed be the memory of Bob Raschick.

Patricia Reiton Dietrich, 73, of East Moline, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Rosewood Care Center of Moline.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4107 21st Ave., Moline. Per her wishes, there will be no visitation. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or to The Salvation Army.
Patricia was born on March 28, 1941, in Watertown, SD, the daughter of Robert F. and Gladys W. Weaver Reiton. She married Marvin F. Dietrich on June 15, 1962, in Grand Forks, N.D. Patricia owned and operated her own business as an occupational therapist, retiring in 1999. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Moline.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Dietrich, East Moline; children, Timothy (Annette) Dietrich, Cary, N.C., Matthew Dietrich, Hudson, Ohio, and Pauline (Rob) Tuchscherer, Elmhurst. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Clint Rodningen, Jr., 75, Grand Forks, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.
Clinton Leslie Rodningen, Jr., the son of Clinton Rodningen, Sr. and Leone (Flem) Rodningen of Petersburg, North Dakota, was born August 30, 1941 at the Deaconess Hospital in Northwood, North Dakota. At a young age, Clint moved with his family to Grand Forks. He was raised and educated in Grand Forks, graduating from Central High School in 1959. He served in the US Army. Clint graduated from UND with a degree in accounting and locally worked for Leo Bell during college. He started his own accounting firm in Grand Forks and later joined Froelich, Paulson, and Moore as a bonding agent. In recent years he was a bonding agent for Klein Agency, Inc.
Clint married Helene Gerszewski. He later married Carol Winslow. On July 10, 2010 Clint married Susan Geronimo. Clint was a private pilot and was member of the Nodak Flying Club. He enjoyed fishing at Lake of The Woods, North West Angle. Clint was very fond of riding his motorcycle. He also loved his kitties, Micah and Mariah.
While working for Valley Contracting during his college years he became a member of the Grand Forks Builders and Traders Exchange, continuing his membership through his lifetime, serving as the President in 1995, Secretary-Treasurer for many years, and was inducted as a lifetime member in 1995.
Clint is survived by his wife, Susan, Grand Forks; daughters, Brenda Johnson (Keith) , Hallock, MN, Barb Winslow Sisk (Cliff), Glendale, AZ; sons, Neal Rodningen (Melani), Grand Forks; David Rodningen, Warsaw, ND, and Terry Winslow, Dickinson, ND; grandchildren, Marie Johnson, Ryan Rodningen, Katie Rodningen, Samantha Countryman (Joel) , Josh Miller, Corey Bowen; great granddaughter, Hazlee; brother, Don Rodningen (Patty), Brainerd, MN; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, Carol Rodningen, and a son, David Winslow.
Funeral Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2017 in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1710 Cherry St., Grand Forks with visitation one hour prior to the service in the church. Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks is in charge of arrangements.




Wayne ""Poodle"" Rosenthal died November 9, 1999 in Fargo, ND.  He was 59.  Wayne served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict.  He was an independent truck driver.  Two sons, David, C90 and Joel, C95; and a brother survive. The Red Cent Winter 2000
